About the Project
My Culture My Heritage
This project is based
on the idea that preservation of one's own culture can be possible by being respectful to other cultures.
During the project we learned about Turkish
and Croatian cultures, hometowns, schools, songs and traditions.
Students gathered information about interesting
facts, described significant landmarks around the area and informed about the
famous people of their cities or towns via various set of ICT tools, videos and
photos. They also prepared handmade gifts for their peers.
Also, the use of English language with a real
communicative purpose encouraged the students to learn English with more
enthusiasm. Most of them want to take part another e-twinning projects in the
future.
