Collaborative Story "Friendship has no boundaries"


It is the first time to leave Turkiye. Ahmet feels so loney and homesick. (Merve)
At the same time, a young man from Croatia is wandering through the busy streets of London. Ivan likes the city's atmosphere, but feels a bit nervous about his first day at the university. (Daniela)
After the flight, Ahmet is tired. He goes to hostel and he is excited for tomorrow.Can he make friends in London?(Yağmur)

 The next day , Ivan excitedly walked to his university. Curiously, he was looking at the old statues of  London. Soon after he arrived to his univeristy, he couldn't find the entrance so he needed help.   He tapped onto someone's shoulder. "Hello? Could you help me find the entrance?" Ivan shamefully   asked. (Ivan S.)

It was Ahmet. He was a bit nervous that he couldn ‘t speak English fluently.He said “sure we can find the entrance together”He asked “Where are you from?”and they started to talk about themselves. (Ahmet)

Ahmet and Ivan spent the whole day together. They were happy when they found out that they had the same classes together. (Stjepan)

They also realized that they had a lot of things in common.During the university years, they shared their happiness and worries.After the graduation, Ahmet promised to keep in touch with Ivan.(Ali)
They returned to their homelands. After a couple of weeks, Ivan and Ahmet both decided to suprise each other. Ivan travelled to Turkey and Ahmet travelled to Croatia at the same time. They were shocked when they found out they had planned the visits at the same time. (Teo)
 Fortunately, the flight hours were different. They met at the airport in Istanbul.They were very happy to see each other. Ahmet said “What a small world!”.Before going to Ahmet’s Hometown,they visited some of the historical places of Istanbul like Galata Tower, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Topkapı Palace and Eminönü.Then they were on the way to Kayseri. Ivan was curious about the taste of Mantı as Ahmet used to talk about this traditional food from time to time. (Ayşegül)


 Manti was delicious, and so were Fritule that they ate in Zagreb when they came to Croatia. Ivan took Ahmet to see the capital city, the astonishing Plitvice Lakes, the wonderful walls of Dubrovnik and the whole Adriatic Coast. At the end of their journey they both agreed that their friendship will never have any boundaries. - The end! (Viktoria)
